I had a fantastic break at Almond Tree Cottage in Camelford. The location was absolutely beautiful, with stunning surroundings and a quiet atmosphere. The cottage itself was comfortable and well-equipped, with everything we needed for our stay. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the games, videos, and books provided for entertainment. The hosts even left us some biscuits and juice as a welcome gesture, which was a lovely touch. We also enjoyed visiting the nearby villages of Port Isaac, Boscastle, and Tingtagel, which were easily accessible from the cottage. it was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend it to others.

The cottage had a stylish decor and attention to detail was good. We appreciated the ample selection of appliances in the kitchen, although we were disappointed by the lack of a dishwasher. the provision of a good selection of DVDs and information on what to see and do in the area was a welcome addition. We also enjoyed the nice touch of having biscuits and apple juice supplied for us on arrival.
It was a pity to have no face to face contact with the hosts. We had to refer to lengthy instruction manuals for questions regarding hot water and other appliances, which was time-consuming.

The cottage had a well-decorated interior and provided everything we needed, including a log burner and a powerful shower. The beds and bedding were exquisite, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. the location was great for exploring different areas of Cornwall without having to travel long distances.
The roads were poorly lit and flooded when we arrived, making it even more challenging. there was a damp problem in the main bedroom, with black mold on the walls and curtains.

We had a wonderful stay at a lovely cottage in a secluded setting. the location was perfect, central to all the attractions we wanted to visit in Cornwall. the cottage was small but well-equipped with everything we needed, including comfortable beds, a clean bathroom, and ample kitchenware and appliances. the master bedroom was spacious, and the second bedroom was perfect for children or tidy adults. We especially enjoyed the cozy atmosphere with the log burner and the beautiful view of rabbits and tree creepers outside the window.

The cottage was beautifully decorated and had a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The gardens surrounding the property were well maintained and provided a lovely view. The hosts were thoughtful and left a welcome gift of traditional biscuits and apple juice. Additionally, the cottage was well equipped with information about local attractions and provided entertainment options such as DVDs and family games.
Upon arrival, the cottage was cold and unwelcoming, with cobwebs and dust present. The front door was dirty and there were cobwebs on the patio furniture.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful and cozy cottage in a peaceful setting. The room was well-equipped and the master bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect, with easy access to both the north and south coasts of Cornwall. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the complimentary bottles of apple juice and biscuits were a lovely touch.
The only thing that could have made breakfast better was if there was a wider variety of options available.

I recently stayed at a charming cottage in the beautiful countryside of Cornwall. The cozy atmosphere of Almond Tree Cottage instantly made me feel at home. The cottage was well-equipped with everything I needed, including a kitchen stocked with all the necessary utensils to cook a delicious meal. The log burning fire kept me warm during storm Bella, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance. I was also pleasantly surprised to find a smart TV, allowing me to enjoy Netflix and other streaming services using my own mobile hotspot. The location was perfect, providing easy access to explore all the wonders of Cornwall. Whether it was visiting the iconic Eden Project, Tintagel, Lands End, or Bodmin Jail, this cottage served as a great starting point for my adventures. Additionally, the cottage had a games field that was a hit with my two small children, providing them with plenty of entertainment.
Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the absence of a welcome pack and the initial absence of soap in the bathroom, these did not overshadow my overall impression of the place. The cottage had a slightly damp feel, which is to be expected considering its age, but the heating system worked well to keep me warm.
